Four was initially appointed by England Rugby 2015 to assist with its PR strategy and implementation. This involved the development of the brand and the organisation’s vision and values. We also provided strategic guidance on crisis and issues communications.
Subsequently, Four was appointed to promote the 200 Days to Go media moment and then the Rugby World Cup Trophy Tour, a 100 day journey across Scotland, Wales, Ireland and England.
Our mission was to raise awareness of the Trophy Tour and Tournament, build excitement and drive ticket sales.
Four provided a rolling communications campaign, ensuring national, regional; local and specialist sector media were engaged with the Trophy Tour across broadcast, print and online.
An estimated 100,000 people saw the Trophy on its long journey through Scotland, Ireland, Wales and England and we generated over 1,000 pieces of coverage.
