Making the case for better password security with Siber Systems

Following news that major brands such as LinkedIn and Yahoo had suffered password-related security breaches, Four undertook research on behalf of software provider Siber Systems. The idea was to determine who people felt was responsible for protecting their personal data – the banks, retailers and social media sites or themselves.

The survey asked about attitudes to online security, especially in relation to passwords, past experiences with security breaches and the extent to which people trusted well-known online brands with their passwords.

 Using the survey, we were able to achieve coverage across a number of top tier titles including Crowded Brain, Tech Radar and PC Pro.
