Cruise ship industry – crisis management

The global cruise industry contacted Four to provide a crisis management and recovery programme in the UK, in the wake of the sinking of the Costa Concordia in January 2012.

We stemmed the tide of negative coverage of the industry through a series of high-profile interviews and international press trips. This helped to communicate key messages of reassurance and safety. Our work with the industry also resulted in improved media relations as the focus shifted towards recovery and growth.
