Costa Rica appointed Four Travel as its first representation agency in the UK in 2016.
Our work included composing a full brand review of Costa Rica’s positioning and completing consumer research. This research led to Four deciding to target a different audience for Costa Rica, changing from families to cultured travellers.
Four created new stunning advertising campaigns which were placed in outdoor locations, including billboards and many tube stations. As well as the outdoor placement, large banners were featured at events such as World Travel Market 2016. With a prime location above the Americas entrance, with attendance being over 37,000 people throughout the course of the 3 days, there was great exposure to businesses and general public alike.
This campaign was also used as marketing alongside the launch of new British Airways flights to Costa Rica to showcase the picturesque views and idyllic scenery the country has to offer.
