We have been working with Women of the Year, the longest-running annual celebration of women, since 2011.
Women of the Year Lunch & Awards 2016 was an outstanding success. Extensive coverage was achieved in high profile, quality media, including Mail Online which has an audience of over 247 million. Interviews with the winners were secured in outlets ranging from BBC Radio 5 Live ‘Daily’, Woman’s Hour BBC Radio 4, In Tune BBC Radio 3 and the Financial Times Weekend.
We managed the red carpet arrivals and arranged interviews for ITV shared content spanning 7 ITV regions.
Social media coverage was the strongest yet, with over 286,000 people reached on Facebook and Twitter on the day of the Lunch. We also launched a new hashtag #womeninspire to encourage people to share how #womeninspire them.
We captured VIP guests using a special Twitter Mirror at the drinks reception, producing a selfie with Prime Minister Theresa May, as well as Lorraine Kelly, Esther Rantzen, Arlene Phillips, Sandi Toksvig, Victoria Milligan and Judy Murray.
