The Baillie Gifford Prize for Non-Fiction

Four Colman Getty handled the PR, digital and events for the Baillie Gifford Prize for Non-Fiction, the UK’s most prestigious non-fiction book prize.

We brokered a partnership with BBC Radio 4 The World at One which saw the shortlisted authors profiled in the week leading to the winner announcement.

News of Philippe Sands’ win was covered nationally (The Guardian, Financial Times, BBC News Online, Mail Online) and internationally (New York Times, Washington Post, The Australian), with extensive follow up interviews in national print and broadcast media including Guardian g2, The Times Weekend, BBC TV News and BBC Radio 4 Front Row.

During the campaign Facebook likes increased by 27%, Twitter followers by 13%, and the longlist and shortlist announcements were accompanied by videos produced in-house which were viewed more than 32,000 times.
