Four has implemented the communications strategy for the Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship since 2012.
The Championship is recognised as one of the leading events on the European Tour, welcoming some of golf’s biggest names, including Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy and Phil Mickelson.
Our strategy has been to attract both golf fans and a wider audience, to emphasise the strength of the field each year, and to position the Championship as the leading leg of the ‘Desert Swing’.
The results have been outstanding. Visitor numbers have doubled to record levels, and media coverage and social media participation has increased year on year.
