Sarah Evans-Toyne

Sarah has worked in the media for twenty years, first in journalism, then as a government speechwriter and most recently as a PR consultant. Sarah specialises in key areas of public policy around education, pensions and finance. 

Sarah has worked in the education sector for many years and has extensive experience in developing strategic PR programmes focusing on international recruitment and brand building. She has extensive crisis management experience.

The University of Westminster, Durham University Business School, The University of Law and law firm Sackers are among Sarah’s clients. 

Prior to working in PR, Sarah was a journalist at BBC News and The Sunday Times. Sarah worked in the BBC Business and Economics Unit for four years, working with the BBC News website and on TV and radio programming. She set up BBC information websites on pensions, tax and investments and won a number of awards for that work. Time spent in government overseas as a ministerial speechwriter has given her first-hand experience of frontline politics. 

Sarah is a former chairman of the PR industry’s digital forum. She studied postgraduate journalism at City University as part of the Sunday Times graduate scheme and is a graduate of the University of London.
