Four Gulf managed the PR and social media for the 3rd World Aviation Safety Summit in Dubai, for its long-standing client Streamline Marketing Group (SMG). 32 media attended the event, eager to hear industry experts explore the key strategies and challenges in improving aviation safety. The summit was covered by all top-tier daily and aviation trade titles as well as some of the region’s most prominent broadcast outlets.
Four Gulf supported the inaugural Future Air Transportation Systems Summit in Dubai for long-standing client, Streamline Marketing Group (SMG). The Summit brought together C-level executives, senior decision makers and government officials to discuss the foremost challenges and issues related to maximizing the Gulf’s air traffic management capacity by modernising and harmonising the region’s air transportation systems.
We work with NATS, the global leader in air traffic management solutions, on building its reputation across traditional and social media platforms. We reach out to targeted stakeholders with an expert voice on air traffic management development in the region positing the company as the ‘go-to’ voice of thought leadership on airspace issues.
We work with the International Air Transport Association (IATA), to position the airline industry association as the expert source of news and comment on aviation issues, across the Middle East. We have worked with IATA for more than eight years, building strong connections with IATA’s global corporate communications team.
Four has developed a social media strategy to help the General Civil Aviation Authority reach out to key stakeholders and the wider UAE population. The ‘Love Your Sky’ campaign communicates in an appealing and engaging manner through all the key social media channels, in Arabic and English. In the first month alone, we boosted social media outreach by 120 per cent – and the campaign grows month by month.

We managed an integrated communications programme to help raise awareness of the second Global Aerospace Summit in Abu Dhabi. The campaign involved a strategic approach to building profile for one of the region’s most important aviation, aerospace, defence and space conferences.
Four created an AFKLM tweet up to inform 13 influential travel and lifestyle bloggers that Air France KLM wanted to work with them. The evening was designed to introduce bloggers to the AFKLM brand and build relationships. The tweet up focussed on South America, a topic designed to encourage conversation across a wide group of people. Results included 648 branded tweets with a reach of 78,711 accounts and 70 new followers.
When London Luton Airport produced a plan to increase passenger capacity by 90 per cent, Four mounted a stakeholder engagement campaign to bring the local and neighbouring communities, local and national politicians, travel and aviation trade partners and the press on side. The campaign researched and developed positive messages about impact on local infrastructure, improved user experience, job creation, environmental considerations and relevance to national aviation issues.
