Zylom.com solve their PR puzzle by appointing Four

20th January 2006: Netherlands-based Zylom.com, which attracts nearly five million users - mostly women – to their on-line puzzles and games site, has appointed Four Communications to handle its UK consumer PR, and to act as hub agency for a pan-European campaign. The appointment follows a three-way pitch, and will see the introduction of a female lifestyle PR programme aimed at capitalising on the fast-growing casual gaming market, with women predominantly at home playing online puzzles and games.
 
This non-gambling or betting sector appeals to women who want to log on and have fun at home or in their lunch break, to pit their wits against their PC. Games categories offered by Zylom.com include word, puzzle, action, card and board, featuring favourites such as Zuma, Mah Jong Quest, Mirror Magic - a game specially designed in-house, plus the latest on-line Sudoko versions. With at least 5 million monthly visitors, Zylom's reach has spread far beyond its Dutch roots, with the UK, German and Spanish markets all experiencing rapid growth. Zylom.com users can try, and play, games for free. Registered players benefit from a host of additional functionality, such as charting their scores both against themselves, and other Zylom players.
