The Sports Arts & Sponsorship team attended the Lloyds Bank Social Entrepreneur of the Year Awards this week, having managed the PR campaign for the event and all the finalists over the last few months.
The awards ceremony is part of the Lloyds Bank Social Entrepreneurs Programme which provides funding, mentoring and support to social entrepreneurs across the country. The projects from the five finalists ranged from promoting sustainable farming and education in the North-West to helping prisoners adjust to life once released.
Jem Stein, Founder of The Bike Project which provides refugees in London with refurbished second-hand bikes, was named the winner in the public vote and took home the £10,000 grand prize.
As well as managing filming, photography and branding at the event, the Four team also secured coverage for each of the finalists in the build-up to the awards.
