This week Four bgb organised and co-hosted a Twitter Party with KLM UK and two top UK travel bloggers- Julie Falconer from A Lady in London and Neil Barnes on behalf of The Travelling Editor.
The aim of the party was to promote KLM’s network across South America and to engage the Twittersphere in a conversation about the continent and summer holidays.
The Twitter Party was a resounding success with 8.6 million impressions and over 300 people participating in the conversation. The hashtag #KLMSummertime even trended in the UK for 55 minutes and was in the top 100 trends for the day.
KLM has worked tirelessly to build up its social media presence, and now offers customers a 24/7 service via its Twitter and Facebook channels.
