Nikki Bissett, who lost her mum on Mother’s Day last year, knows the importance of this only too well. Thanks to their ’wee chat’, Nikki authorised her mum to be an organ donor, saving three lives as a result.

A Facebook link to the online Sunday Mail coverage received 708 likes, 52 shares and 18 comments within the first 24 hours of publication. The article has also received over 1300 shares directly from the news paper’s website.
Given organ donation is the greatest share of all, social media activity is integral to our campaign.
