Promoting Paym for business

Consolidated PR conducted the media launch of Paym for business last week, encouraging consumers to pay the tradespeople they employ with their mobile phone.

The team commissioned a piece of research, which found that sole traders have to chase £200 in late payments because their customers have no cash in the house. The research was launched to broadcast, print and online media and the team have secured 130 pieces of coverage thanks to hits on BBC Breakfast, BBC Radio 4 and Press Association, with a follow-up case study-led feature due to appear in The Mail on Sunday this weekend.

To support broadcast media, the team also hired Tommy Walsh of Groundforce fame to be the voice of the sole trader.
