Four Communications' seventh exhibition at the Leicester Square offices celebrates London’s summer in the global spotlight through a selection of London Underground posters, kindly loaned by client, the London Transport Museum. Stretching back from 1910, the posters within our meeting rooms and public spaces reveal a very British sense of humour and a comprehensive picture of a century of British graphic design.
The London Transport Museum cares for one of the finest poster archives in the world with the first graphic poster for London Underground commissioned a century ago. The collection has grown steadily ever since to include more than 5,000 printed posters and 1,000 original artworks.
The London Transport Museum’s major summer 2012 exhibition ‘Mind the Map’ runs until 28 October 2012.
Our show runs until September 2012 and all works can be bought through the Museum’s print to order service. Please visit www.ltmcollection.org for more details.
