Following the great success of Four Colman Getty’s first Off the Page - a new event connecting creative businesses - the second will explore Mobile Culture on Monday 3 June at The Groucho Club. The evening’s speakers will discuss how the technology we carry in our pockets every day can change the way we create, produce, encounter, experience and engage with art, culture and literature.
Introduced by author, cultural commentator and technology theorist Tom Chatfield, speakers include Stephanie Duncan, Digital Media Director at Bloomsbury, Trevor Klein, Head of Development at Somethin' Else, Michael Kowalski, founder and CEO of Contentment and Peter Thomas, Managing Director-Geographic Marketing, UK/Ireland at Accenture. All will present in a fast-paced 'Pecha Kucha' style.
As well as industry leaders, Off the Page will also present projects from some start-up companies who have exciting products, projects or ideas that suggest new ways that the cultural industries can engage new audiences, distribute and monetise content and develop and enhance brands.
