Independent integrated agency Four Communications, part of the Four Communications Group, has been retained by Hampshire Trust Bank (HTB) following the acquisition of the 30-year old bank by a new management team headed by veteran banker and HTB Chief Executive, Mark Sismey-Durrant.
Mark Sismey-Durrant says “Four’s Corporate team handled the initial acquisition announcement in May this year and it will now be supporting the new generation bank in our ambition to build a justified reputation for personal service and specialist expertise in the UK SME market.”
HTB’s initial focus is on asset finance, commercial finance and property finance for commercial customers, with teams of experts in each area already recruited and in place. Four will also launch a range of HTB savings products for individuals and businesses early in 2015.
The team will be led by Four Communications Head of Client Services, Sara Render. Sara says “Four has a significant track record in financial services as well as those sectors that the banks will focus on initially - property and SME growth businesses and their advisers. Our understanding of the priorities of the bank’s main customer base will inform an issues based programme, supported by evidence based positioning on superior service standards, value added expertise and consistently competitive products.”
