Foursight magazine wins 2009 CiB Award of Excellence

London, 1 April 2009:  Four Communications Group plc, the leading independent international communications agency, has received a prestigious accolade from Communicators in Business for Foursight magazine.  The panel of senior corporate communications experts awarded Foursight an Award of Excellence for Best Magazine, and have shortlisted it alongside publications from blue-chip companies across the UK, including  RBS, The Princes Trust, Shell and Honda.
Foresight is Four’s intelligent in-house publication.With three issues under its belt it is already a firm favourite of prospective and current clients alike.  The magazine showcases areas of interest around the company and is designed, written, produced and edited in-house by a team from across Four’s UK and Middle East offices.
The Communicators in Business awards recognise the best in business communications throughout the UK.  To receive an Award of Excellence, nominees must pass three stages, with industry experts assessing the publication on style, impact, substance and excellence. 
The CiB judges were unanimous in their praise of Foursight commenting that its “classy, slick and modern” look compares favourably with “far less professional and attractive magazines being sold with a steep cover price on the newsagent’s stand.”
The judges also commented:
“This is something different – a communications tool produced not for a client’s workforce, but by a communications firm for its staff, clients, suppliers and other stakeholders.  Four Communications set out to create a magazine which sparked discussion and created a buzz, and Foursight undoubtedly does that.”
“In showcasing the breadth and depth of the company’s work, it’s a medium that’s hard to beat.  If I were a potential client, I would demand: ‘I want something like this.’”
