Four has been shortlisted four times in the Middle East Public Relations Association (MEPRA) awards for work on behalf of its clients, it was announced today. The Four team has been shortlisted for Best Practice Awards for its work for Orpic (multidisciplinary campaign and employee engagement categories), Flash Entertainment (consumer relations category) and Omran (multidisciplinary campaign category).
Ray Eglington, Four’s managing director – international, said: “We’re really pleased to have been shortlisted so many times. These are three campaigns of which we are particularly proud and it is great to see that the quality of work is clearly visible.
“I’m particularly pleased that the breadth of our work has been recognised. As the independent integrated agency we always look to develop communications strategies which go beyond simple media relations and these campaigns certainly reflect that.”
For Orpic, Oman’s refining and petrochemicals company, Four led a programme which got employees fully involved in developing a new brand and communications strategy for the business. More than 600 employees took part directly in the programme, which led to the unveiling of the Orpic name and identity in June 2011.
With Flash Entertainment, Four provided consumer communications support for the FIFA Club World Cup UAE 2010 Presented by Toyota, which saw attendances rise 35 per cent over the previous year.
And for Omran, Oman’s leading tourism development company, Four has provided communications strategy and implementation support since 2008, covering a wide range of the company’s projects as well as its corporate profile.
