Four Travel celebrates Chinese New Year 2016

The Four Travel Chinese New Year team tried not to get their chopsticks in a twist this week as they prepared the country to welcome in the Year of the Monkey, ahead of the official Chinese New Year parade on Sunday – the biggest in the world outside China.

An action-packed Monday morning of activity included a photo call in Trafalgar Square with Deputy Mayor Roger Evans, a live BBC Breakfast slot from Chinatown and photo shoots with Getty Images and Visit Britain, as well as a drumming group appearance on Channel 4’s Sunday Brunch.

The London parade takes place this Sunday in Trafalgar Square, Chinatown and Charing Cross Road from 10am-6pm, and will feature performances from the Szechuan Opera and Beijing Children’s Choir.
