9th July 2007: Four Sports Marketing & Sponsorship has re-named as Four Sports, Arts & Sponsorship (Four SAS for short) to better reflect the balance of its sports and arts offerings. Since the start of 2006, Four Sports, Arts and Sponsorship has worked for The Mayor's Thames Festival, Museums of Liverpool, the London Festival of Architecture and the arts body Mission, Models, Money amongst other projects in the arts sector.
Associate Rachel Clarke is promoted to Head of Arts, reporting to Managing Director Alun James, and is responsible for the continued development of the agency's arts portfolio.
Four was recently named as the fastest growing sponsorship agency in Marketing Magazine's annual sponsorship league table having expanded by 264% during its first full year of trading. This performance propelled the agency from fifteenth to eleventh position in the overall league table. The development of the arts offering has been central to this growth.
Rachel Clarke said: "The arts represent a significant opportunity for agencies that can demonstrate a real understanding of the sector. We are working internationally with a combination of arts organisations and corporate sponsors to improve the way in which they communicate initiatives to their audiences and stakeholders".
