Following a year of impressive international growth, Four Communications has been shortlisted as a finalist for International Consultancy of the Year 2009 in the prestigious annual PR Week Awards.
The company, which was founded in London in 2001, has since grown into one of the industry’s largest and most innovative independent agencies, working internationally for clients such as Etihad Airways, Sony Playstation and the World Health Organisation. The company operates from its dual hubs in the UK (London and Liverpool) and the Middle East (Abu Dhabi and Dubai), and via its network of best-of-breed affiliates, covering all major territories around the world.
Nan Williams, Group chief executive, said:
“We are thrilled to have been recognised as a finalist in this year’s awards. As a young, independent agency, we have been able to take full advantage of the opportunities presented by the changing global landscape.
"Key to the success of our international expansion has been the launch of our proprietary international online knowledge management tools (branded The Centre). Made up of Media Centre, Issues Centre, Asset Centre and Contact Centre, clients are able to mix and match and tailor modules to suit their very specific international needs"

Four was also shortlisted for three client campaigns at the Awards, and earlier this year reached the finals of the International Business Awards for Consultancy of the Year in the Middle East and Africa.
Winners of all categories will be announced in October at the PR Week Awards event.
