Four reappointed to support 2012 London Jazz Festival consumer campaign

Four Communications to work with Serious for the third consecutive year

Serious - one of the UK’s leading producers and curators of live jazz, international and new music - has reappointed Four Communications to promote the London Jazz Festival beyond its core jazz audience. Now in its 20th year the London Jazz Festival, in association with BBC Radio 3, will run from Friday 9 to Sunday 18 November 2012.

Four’s 2012 communications programme will build on its two years of support which has seen London’s biggest city-wide music festival appear on Channel 4 News, BBC Newsnight, BBC Breakfast, ITV’s Daybreak and Channel Five’s Live with Gabby and in publications from Marie Claire and ES Magazine to Eurostar’s magazine ‘Metropolitan’.

Serious created the London Jazz Festival in 1992 and is one of the UK’s leading producers and curators of live jazz, international and new music.

Amy Coombe, Communications at Serious, said: “Bringing new audiences to jazz is at the heart of our mission at Serious. Securing coverage and buzz around the London Jazz Festival beyond our loyal jazz audience has been Four’s brief since 2010 and this year we are looking for the team to build on our growing London and national profile and the excellent consumer coverage achieved.”
