Four Public Affairs was celebrating the success of client Arriva last week after they won the £1.5bn contract to run London Overground rail services on behalf of Transport for London until 2023.
The Four team ran a contact programme and series of events with key politicians and transport stakeholders to help elevate the profile of Arriva – more widely known as a bus operator. A highly successful House of Commons briefing attracted a large number of MPs and councilors from constituencies with stations on the network to engage with Arriva staff while the bid was prepared.
Four will be helping the company prepare to take over the seven-and-a-half-year contract, beginning on November 13. The new contract will see the company deliver a variety of ambitious services, rolling stock and station improvements for customers.
