Four Public Affairs has been hired to help Arriva Trains with its bid to Transport for London to operate the London Overground rail network from next year.
German owned Arriva has been part of a consortium running London Overground since 2007. This has been seen as a major success for the Mayor and Transport for London, with an expanded network and new rolling stock, helping to bring about huge improvements in quality and service.
The Four team will be responsible for delivering a major programme of stakeholder consultation, helping to ensure that the company gains its share of the credit for recent successes and is able to win support for future plans from politicians and business alike.
With the network consisting of seven busy London routes, 25 councils and over 60 MPs with stations in their area, it’s set to be a busy summer for the team.
