Four to pen social novel for charity

What the Dickens is the Four team up to this festive season?

Starting today, the independent, integrated communications agency will be penning its first ever social novel - an improvised festive tale, 140 characters at a time, across 12 days of tweeting.

Four's Christmas tale will be written on Twitter and published on the company's website as it happens. The narrative will be left wide open for each scribe to continue the story. Then on Christmas Eve, the story will come to its dramatic conclusion.

Clients, media and tweeters-at-large can join in by suggesting where the story should go next.  This could be suggestions for characters, storylines and themes, or even challenges to weave something particular in to the tale - however outlandish or strange it might be.

It's all in aid of Broadway - Homelessness and Support, a London based charity whose vision is that every person finds and keeps a home.  For every suggestion, Four will donate £1 (up to £500).

Anyone can contribute an idea, or simply keep track of the tale, on our website:
