Four North appointed by Eatonfield Group to undertake PR and public consultation on exciting Cumbrian Coastline development

24 April 2008: Eatonfield Group, one of the most successful regional property developers in the North West has appointed Four Communications to manage public consultation for a mixed use scheme in Workington, Cumbria. The site is the 87 acre former Corus steelworks close to the coastline in Workington.

Ian Arnott, Development Director for Eatonfield, said the team would be working to come up with the best plan for the area between themselves and the local community.

He added: 'We want to build something sustainable, so we need ideas from everyone. We have a blank canvas and nothing will be done without consulting local people first.'

Alun Hayes, Head of Public Affairs – Four North said 'We are delighted to have been chosen by Eatonfield and we look forward to working with them on their exciting proposals for the former Corus site , which could even include a new Promenade for the Cumbrian coastal town of Workington.'
