Wales Millennium Centre, Wales’ flagship arts centre at the heart of Cardiff Bay, has appointed Four Communications to handle PR and communications for their 10th anniversary year, launching this September. Their mission is, quite simply, to articulate the voice of Wales to the wider world: work on the anniversary will begin immediately.
With headquarters in London, and an international network of agencies, Four Communications is perfectly placed to handle the year-long campaign. The project team will include members of Four Colman Getty, Four’s culture and campaigning company, as well as bgb, Four’s travel team, and their specialist digital and marketing team, all of whom will work with the in-house team at the Centre.
Bet Davies, Head of Public Relations at Wales Millennium Centre says, ‘After a competitive tender, we chose Four Communications because of its perfect skillset to suit our needs, with a strong digital team as well as specialists in culture and destination PR. This is an important milestone in our history and an excellent opportunity to turn up the volume on what has been achieved here, and to position us going forward as one of the UK’s most successful Millennium projects.
Dotti Irving, CEO of Four Colman Getty, adds, ‘We are thrilled to have the opportunity to handle such an ambitious and prestigious campaign. We very much look forward to working with the in-house team at Wales Millennium Centre to create an unforgettable year, not just for the people of Wales but for the many lovers of Wales – the country, its culture, its food - worldwide.’
