Four’s chief executive, Nan Williams, celebrated 25 years in communications today.
Starting as a graduate trainee at Charles Barker, Nan became its UK chief executive while it was Charles Barker / BSMG Worldwide – a position she held from 1997 to 2001.
She then founded Four with fellow PR veterans Ray Eglington, Tim Lewis and Einir Williams, and has grown it to become one of the leading independent communications agencies in the UK and the Gulf.
Clients have included, among others, Grant Thornton International, UK Payments, the 2011 Census, the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS), the British Library, Shell and many others.
Nan said, “It is quite hard to believe I have actually really done 25 years in PR! But it is such a changing, varied profession – from the serious to the mad – that it has all been great fun. The best part has, of course, been founding and growing Four – although I think the best is yet to come...”
