Four bgb has secured global television coverage for client Barbados Tourism Authority by facilitating the production of Jonathan Phang’s Caribbean Cookbook. Recently broadcast on The Food Network, the two 25 minute episodes see chef Jonathan Phang travel to Barbados to meet with local characters and discover the island’s culinary heritage
Four bgb identified the opportunity to target to new visitors and then worked with production company Shine TV to devise the episode storylines, ensuring inclusion of the island’s key food messages. The episodes aired throughout February and March, each seen by 1.5 million viewers. Throughout 2013 they will be rolled out to further territories and reach a global audience of nine million before the year’s end.
