Four attended The Hotel Show 2013 which took place 28 – 30 September 2013 at Dubai World Trade Centre.
Held annually, The Hotel Show attracts more than 16,000 trade professionals and 450 exhibitors representing 45 countries from across the MENA region and beyond. The three day programme featured a packed agenda with discussions and presentations from top brands and influential leaders from across the hotel and hospitality industry.
Jemma Lester, MD of Four’s new luxury division One Luxury Marketing and Sarah White of Four bgb - Four’s specialist travel division attended the show, whilst Four Gulf’s Natalie Amos chaired a panel discussion on ‘New tourism trends and new business opportunities’.
With panelists including Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group and Arabian Healthcare Group taking part, the participants discussed the opportunities for wellness tourism (an area set to grow to $678.5 billion by 2017 with the Middle East predicted to be a key driver), potential collaboration between the traditional tourism industry and medial tourism industries, emerging destinations as well as new tourism trends and insights.
