Four Arts puts digital under the spotlight

Four Arts launches its new digital offering - strategic and practical implementation of digital strategy, including the creation of online assets, activation and evaluation – on Tuesday 5 October with a forum event about how to engage arts audiences effectively online.

Guest speaker Hasan Bakhshi, Director of NESTA's Creative Industries Unit and co-author of the recent groundbreaking Culture of Innovation report, will be presenting the latest research on the changing patterns of audience demand, new business models that work and how and why users pay for digital content.
The event will also lend insight into which platforms to use, how to blog and tweet and how organisations can ensure that audiences find their content.
“Interactive websites, Facebook pages, Twitter streams, Flickr albums, Foursquare locations - they're everywhere and hold huge potential as a way of bringing arts and culture to a wider audience,” says Four Arts Account Director Justin Pledger. “We want to work with arts organisations to develop their digital strategy and take full advantage of these opportunities, while igniting discussion around the subject with this launch event.”
