Four appoints new culture expert


Four Communications welcomes Justin Pledger to the Sports, Arts & Sponsorship team.
Justin joins from BSkyB, where he was responsible for creating and implementing Sky Arts’ award winning sponsorship strategy including support of the UK’s biggest public art event, Antony Gormley’s One and Other on the Forth Plinth in Trafalgar Square, and the development and implementation of its BAFTA nominated website. Other projects included English National Opera, English National Ballet, the Hay Festival and National Trust.
In addition he brings with him over 13 years experience in media having worked in social and online marketing for Reuters, Associated Newspapers and EMAP developing cross media campaigns, and arts-side for English National Opera where he secured one of the UK’s largest arts sponsorships.
Four director Rachel Clarke said: “We are thrilled Justin has joined the team. His depth of experience developing and managing projects with big business and cultural leaders, together with his on-line and social media expertise build on our reputation for effective, creative and contemporary cultural sponsorship and arts-based communications.”
