Four appoints Natalie Amos to head growing Gulf travel PR practice

Four Communications Group has appointed Natalie Amos to head its growing travel PR and marketing practice in the Gulf.

Amos, who has worked for Four Communications for the last six years in its London office, is transferring to Abu Dhabi, from where she will lead travel PR campaigns across the Gulf.

She will build on a Gulf client base which includes IHG, Etihad Airways, Tourism Ireland and RAK Tourism, as well PR for as many destination-related events.  She will also help to develop the company’s new travel representation business, working with Thomas Redmond, who leads the prestigious Tourism Ireland representation account.

"Travel is one of the fastest-growing sectors for our Gulf offices,” said MD Ray Eglington.  “Natalie is one of our most trusted senior consultants, bringing a wealth of experience which will help us build on this success.”

Natalie joined Four Communications in 2007 and has more than ten years’ experience working within the travel industry in PR and marketing communications.  She has built a wealth of media contacts through her work for hotels, luxury resorts, adventure tour operators, wildlife camps, airlines, and ferry and cruise operators.

During her six years with Four, Amos has led successful PR and social media campaigns for clients including Exodus, Banyan Tree Hotels & Resorts, Scandinavian Airlines, Discover Ferries and Singapore Tourism.

“The Gulf is clearly an exciting market for travel and tourism PR.  I’m looking forward to bringing some new approaches to the market, helping to develop new opportunities for our clients,” said Amos.

She is currently completing an MSc in Responsible Tourism Management at the International Centre for Responsible Tourism (ICRT), and will help to develop Four Communications’ sustainability communications work in the region.

“We are working with major brands here on developing their CSR strategies, running the spectrum from strategic consulting to environmental reporting to community relations,” said Ray Eglington.  “Natalie’s skills in this area will bring an added strength to this work.”

Amos is supporting Four’s busy programme of client events at Arabian Travel Market in Dubai this week, before moving to the Gulf in June.
