Four appointed to develop identity for new bi-lateral trade organisation

19 July 2007: Four has been chosen to work alongside the Indo British Partnership Network (IBPN) and UK Trade and Investment (UKTI) to develop the brand identity for a new organisation to spearhead bi-lateral trade between Britain and India. The contract, which was agreed after a UKTI tendering exercise, will involve Four in the naming of the new organisation, the creation of a brand identity, developing a tone of voice, and building an online presence as well as design, production and content of offline membership collateral.

India is a key trading partner for the UK, and the Government has recognised the need for a paradigm shift in the identification of bilateral opportunities and the facilitation of joint ventures and business partnerships. The IBPN has been operating in this arena for several years and has the confidence of both the UK and Indian Governments.

The new organisation will use the base infrastructure of the IBPN, but benefit from a much higher level of support from the UK Government, an enhanced membership among UK and Indian companies, and a new Chief Executive Officer to lead the future expansion and growth. That CEO is Sharon Bamford, who said: "This is an exciting time for our two countries and I am delighted that Four is on board with us to help shape the way we present ourselves to the business and political communities."

Four Communications is one of the fastest growing PR companies in the UK. In 2006 it was named the Holmes Report UK Agency of the year and highly commended as consultancy of the year by PR Week.
