Don’t let them eat cake – the sobering truth about Scotland’s obesity crisis

This week, Four Scotland served up a smorgasbord of mouth-watering coverage for Food Standards Scotland – the public sector food body for Scotland.

In its first major report on the nation’s eating habits, the organisation issued a report addressing Scotland’s obesity crisis. It highlighted the impact of multi-buy and discounted promotions, calling for a sugar tax and crack down on retailers.

Coverage highlights included front pages for The Herald and The Times, along with a bevy of broadcast channels and reporting in six national titles.
