Consolidated PR, now part of Four Communications, celebrated at the PR Week Awards last night, achieving Highly Commended in the Financial Services category for their work with Paym.
Paym, the cross-bank service from The Payments Council, allows users to transfer money simply by using their mobile phone number.
To support Paym’s launch at the end of April this year, the team embarked on one of the biggest behaviour change campaigns in financial services. Their work secured blanket coverage across major broadcast, national and regional media and extensive social conversation and recommendation. The launch of Paym led to more than 800,000 consumers registering to use the service, prompted in part by over almost 1,000 pieces of media coverage during the eight week launch period.
Consolidated’s work on Paym continues with a cross agency team launching a social media competition in the next couple of weeks.
