Four Communications has appointed former PhotoBox head of communications Antia Buhigas as head of Social Media. Most recently at PhotoBox, Buhigas oversaw all social and PR activity and led on innovative projects such as 24 Live (record-breaking 12,000 photos uploaded in a day) and Face Britain – the brainchild of Prince Charles made possible by PhotoBox – with a stunning finale of over 200,000 children self portraits projected onto Buckingham Palace.
Previously Antia has worked at digital agency, Stickee Digital, for clients including ITV, Harper Collins and BSkyB, challenged creative boundaries within Merlin Entertainments Group, converted award winning projects as a consultant to experiential agency Jack Morton Worldwide advising on campaigns for Phillips, Toyota, NHS and Reuters and worked in numerous PR roles. Originally from Spain, Buhigas has been in the UK since 1995 studying at the University of Sterling and Royal Holloway and then taking up various agency and in-house roles.
