Urban Planning Council, Abu Dhabi

In 2007, Abu Dhabi’s recently-established Urban Planning Council published its visionary development framework for the capital, Plan 2030. This plan laid out a long-term framework for the development of the city.
Objective
In early 2008, Four Communications’ Abu Dhabi team was asked to develop a campaign to explain this vision to a wide range of stakeholders, including Ministries, real estate developers and the wider Abu Dhabi public.
Solution
Following communications strategy workshops and development of key messaging, our team came up with a common creative theme for a range of materials which included brochures, a new website, video animations, press materials and giveaways. We launched the new campaign at Cityscape Abu Dhabi, backed with a series of media interviews and placed stories.
Results
For the first time, the Urban Planning Council was able to use a set of clear, simple materials to explain its vision, in a consistent manner, to all its stakeholders.
