Head of communications planning

Four, the UK’s leading independent integrated agency is looking for a head of communications planning to work on key new business and clients in financial services, property, aviation, travel and culture sectors among other.  We are looking for an experienced communications planner / strategist who is bright, organised, confident and creative and is a keen team player. You will be involved in all elements of comms planning across the agency from insight and research to communication strategy development. You will review, challenge and build on client briefs articulating key insights, barriers, opportunities and propositions. The right person will have relevant experience across all major media channels and must understand how to plan integrated campaigns including public relations, public affairs, media, digital and advertising.

You will have/be:

  • excellent communication and client handling skills
  • numerate and able to present complex data in an interesting and simple way
  • the ability to write and deliver compelling presentations to large groups of people
  • creative, confident and articulate
  • familiar with all established sources of data, trends and insight and strategic planning tools and processes
  • able to interpret information from this wide range of sources into clear and creative plans
  • comfortable in private and public sectors
  • experience in a wide range of sectors
  • understand brand positioning and strategy and behaviour change theory
  • all about consumer psychology, analytics and engagement
  • the ability to conduct audits and run workshops

Salary: dependent on experience

Start date: asap

Experience: 5 years+ in planning or strategy development
