Virtual reality has been on the news agenda of late and it seems there are no bounds to the experiences new technologies can offer. Over the next few months we are delighted to be working with XPONIA, a Swiss company pioneering the museum of the future.
XPONIA helps museums set up Digital Interactive Museum Guides. Our Digital and Marketing team will be launching XPONIA’s exciting new iBeacon technology in the UK, which guides visitors on their chosen tour using their smartphones without the need for arrows or signs. In true multi-media style, content can be accessed in text, audio, video or 3D formats.
The team will be carrying out product demonstrations with XPONIA at two great industry trade shows: the Museums and Heritage Show in London and the AIM Conference in Edinburgh. We can’t wait to see this unique technology bring to life museum collections and exhibitions across the UK.
