The Women of the Year Lunch and Awards took place in October, 60 years after it began in 1955.
More than 400 incredible women from all over the country were invited to the annual event to celebrate their achievements and contributions to society. Recognisable guests included Nicole Kidman, Katie Melua, Nadiya Hussain (winner of The Great British Bake Off), Mel Giedroyc and Sally Dynevor. The Women of the Year award winners included Rotherham whistle-blower Jayne Senior, astrophysicist Dame Jocelyn Bell Burnell, Ebola volunteer Cokie van der Velde, CoppaFeel!’s Kris Hallenga and charity founder Pat Rogers.
Four Colman Getty have been working with Women of the Year for five years and coverage highlights included articles in the Financial Times, Daily Mirror, The Sun and The Independent, LOOK Magazine, as well as some of the winners being profiled on BBC Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour and BBC London’s Gaby Roslin Show.
