Alongside our Culture division’s ongoing work raising awareness of the Royal Horticultural Society’s gardens, the Campaigning team have been working on profile-raising for its Director General, Sue Biggs.
The aim is to showcase organisation’s charitable and educational activities, and provide Sue a platform to discuss the work of the RHS as a whole – beyond Chelsea, its most famous show. Sue is passionate about the RHS’ efforts across a range of areas, from addressing the skills gap to demonstrating horticulture’s impact on reducing our effect on the environment, and she is personally committed to inspiring more people to garden and get involved with horticulture.
To bring her innovative vision to life, we arranged an interview with Woman&Home magazine in which she discussed her pioneering career amidst the beautiful RHS Wisley. Meanwhile, interviews with The Independent Magazine and London Evening Standard followed in the run up to the RHS Chelsea Flower Show.
