In 2014 Four Colman Getty worked with RHS for the fifth time on the publicity for their prestigious flower shows at Hampton Court Palace and Tatton Park.
Our focus was on securing lifestyle coverage to help drive visitor figures. We secured designer Orla Kiely and Head of Design at Liberty Art Fabrics Emma Mawston to decorate lettering on the show ground, and were able to place them in features in BBC Homes & Antiques and Sunday Telegraph Stella respectively, as well as securing a feature for the third lettering designer, fashion designer Matthew Williamson, in Grazia magazine.
We placed interviews with show garden designers and show managers in Diva magazine, My Weekly, Shortlist, Sunday Telegraph, BBC Radio London Robert Elms Show and Good Housekeeping online, and secured show previews in S magazine, Fabulous magazine, Good Housekeeping, Period Homes & Interiors, Delicious, Hello!, Period Living, Reader’s Digest, and online at Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar.
We loved the Seven Deadly Sins gardens at Hampton Court, as well as the decorative showground lettering, and both shows were great days out for the many visitors who headed along!
