Kerzner appoints bgb across all its brands

We are pleased to announce that Kerzner International has appointed bgb as its UK travel PR agency of record, following our involvement in the successful launch of Atlantis, The Palm last year. The brands now promoted by bgb include One&Only Resorts and Mazagan Beach Resort in addition to Atlantis, The Palm. Our luxury team is working closely alongside our core travel team to promote all three brands to consumer and trade audiences.

Having worked with bgb's experienced team on the launch of Atlantis, The Palm last year, we felt that the combination of their professional attitude, excellent travel media contacts and ability to deliver amazing results made them the perfect choice for our consolidated travel business."

bgb will be consolidating and building on One&Only's luxury leadership positioning, communicating core brand values and individual guest experiences. We are working on One&Only's new Cape Town property in addition to promoting One&Only Royal Mirage in Dubai, One&Only Le Saint Geran in Mauritius, One&Only Reethi Rah in the Maldives, One&Only Palmilla in Los Cabos, Mexico and One&Only Ocean Club in the Bahamas.

We have also been appointed to launch the Mazagan Beach Resort in Morocco to the travel industry ahead of an opening in November 2009. We will implement a trade-focussed campaign, targeting travel trade and MICE media to drive sales and help increase airlift and tour operator partnerships. Key messages include the all-year-round 18-hole links golf course, the first casino in this part of Morocco, the temperate summer climate, excellent MICE facilities and its proximity to beautiful beaches and the harbour towns of El Jadida and Azemmour.

Our remit for Atlantis, The Palm in 2009 is to continue the momentum following the grand opening. Areas of focus include the comprehensive spa, the unprecedented collection of celebrity chef restaurants and the unparalleled family facilities including the Atlantis Kids Club, the 42-acre Aquaventure water park and the resort's renowned marine habitat.

The Communications Store will continue to manage all spa and fashion outreach on behalf of One&Only Resorts and freud communications will continue to handle specific entertainment and corporate campaigns on behalf of Kerzner resorts.
