General Election 2017: Winners, Losers and Next Steps

The last votes were finally counted last night and the snap election of 2017 was drawn to a close.  Kensington was the final constituency to declare and was a surprise gain for Labour - and a sign of just quite how bad the results have been for Theresa May and the Conservatives.

Now the dust has settled and the composition of the new Parliament is clear, Four PA is pleased to present General Election 2017: Winners, Losers and Next Steps. All eyes are now on the Conservative and DUP negotiations before Parliament returns on 13 June. After that, it’s just a few days before the crucial vote on the Queen’s Speech that could either set out May’s new agenda for Government or force her out of power entirely. That’s not to mention the Brexit talks due to start at the same time…
