Four Colman Getty is delighted to announce that it has joined the PRCA UK PR Apprenticeship scheme. We will be welcoming a PR Apprentice to our Campaigning team from 2 April.
Dotti Irving, CEO of Four Colman Getty, comments: ‘The issue of youth unemployment is consistently on the news agenda and we felt, especially given the range of education accounts our Campaigning team works with – from children’s literacy charity, Beanstalk, to the Association of Graduate Recruiters – that we should do something to demonstrate our commitment to this issue.
‘As an agency, Four Colman Getty believes in attracting colleagues from a range of backgrounds – it means we bring diversity of thinking and diversity of experience to each and every project. I am delighted to be backing the apprenticeship programme and welcoming our first PR Apprentice in April; I’m sure we will learn as much from her as she will learn from us!’
The PR Apprenticeship programme targets young people with enthusiasm for a career in PR, but who have chosen not to pursue an undergraduate degree. The programme lasts for one year and apprentices receive on-the-job training, qualifications and development with real-life work experience. The Level 4 PR Apprenticeship is equivalent to a foundation degree.
