Action on Addiction held their annual research seminar on Friday 15 March at Eversheds Law Firm, where guest speaker Professor Jo Neale from Oxford Brookes University explored the topic of women in recovery.

Four Colman Getty worked with the inspirational journalist Victoria Brittain in February on the publication of her book, Shadow Lives: The Forgotten Women of the War on Terror. It’s a thought-provoking look at the human fallout of the ‘War on Terror’, specifically the impact on the wives and families of men incarcerated in Guantanamo, in prison or under house arrest in Britain and the US. FCG were delighted to secure a large extract in The Guardian and an interview for Victoria and one of the wives on Woman’s Hour.


To celebrate World Book Day, and promote the publication of the Beanstalk Charter for Children’s Literacy, Sue Porto wrote a piece for The Guardian’s Culture Professionals Network.
