bgb's Travel Consultants Network service has been boosted by the appointment of a third consultant. Rob Bates has signed up to become a member of the travel specialist network after setting up his own PR business. Rob has spent nine years in travel communications, following a career in TV. He has in-house experience at Air New Zealand and Icelandair as well as agency experience working on clients such as Tourism Australia, the Spanish Tourist Office and individual members of The Leading Hotels of the World.
Rob Bates joins Catherine Brennan Consulting and Rachel O Reilly Communications in the bgb Travel Consultants Network. Rob Bates said: "By joining bgb's innovative Travel Consultants Network I can offer clients a cost-effective and personalised service supported by the agency's insight and intelligence, providing communications essential to those whose resources may not allow them to retain an agency team."
Debbie Hindle, bgb managing director said: "We founded our network of independent consultants last year because I could see a great opportunity to match clients who didn't want a full service agency to the skills of senior consultants. It's proved a very successful and good-value service with the flexibility of offering clients additional services from training to crisis work if the need arises."
