The Luxury Travel Fair was back with a bang this year at Kensington Olympia with a collection of the finest and most unique holiday and travel experiences from around the world exhibiting. Spearheaded by Melinda Stevens, the new Conde Nast Travel editor and Simon Leadsford, CNT publishing director, the fair, now in its seventh year, was a stylish and slick event with industry members and consumers perusing the stands with a cold glass of Louis Roederer champagne in hand.
‘Meet the Experts’ included the coolest in cutting-edge industry speakers, from Black Tomato founder, Tom Merchant to Hip Hotels book series owner Herbert Ypma. Four bgb was intrigued to hear Merchant’s views on the future of luxury and noticed an increase in the concept of wellness, proving that guests now expect more than a ‘relaxing’ trip, and look for an overall wellbeing travel experience incorporating body, mind and soul.
Running until 5pm on Sunday at West Hall, Olympia, Four bgb recommends a visit, if only to get some inspiration for your next trip!
